Performance avec Nicolas Puyjalon, Espace Croix-Baragnon, à l’occasion de son expostition Tandem avec Ben.

C’est le printemps. Nous allumons la radio Nostalgie. Au-dessus de la cage d’escalier qui mène a la salle d’exposition où nous nous trouvons, nous construisons une cabane en ayant pour modèle la tour de l’observatoire abandonné de Teufelsberg à Berlin. Lorsque la construction est terminée, nous allumons une projection vidéo montrant des pissenlits qui ondulent sous une légère brise. La projection couvre une grande partie de la salle. Nous sortons par un deuxième escalier, extérieur, et remontons par la première cage d’escalier sous la cabane. Dans cette tour d’observation improvisée nous perçons un trou et y enfonçons un tube en papier en guise de longue-vue, afin d’observer les pissenlits.

It is spring. We turn on a french radio station called Nostalgie, which plays cheesy french-chanson oldies. Above the staircase that leads to the exhibtion room that we are standing in, we build a hut with cardboard and paper. Our model for the hut is a famous abandonned observatory tower that stands in Teufelsberg, Berlin. When we are done, we turn on a video projection showing dandelions in a light wave breeze. The projection covers a large part of the room. Then We go through an other staircase, external, and walk back through the first staircase under the hut. In this improvised observatory tower, we make a hole and place a paper tube in it, as a telescope, to observe the dandelions.
